The process modeling standard BPMN 2.0 is the internationally established solution if you digitally map frequently repeated (repetitive) processes in your company. BPMN is the graphical modeling language used for this purpose, which ensures cross-system compatibility. Such visual modeling has the advantage that you can view business processes as a whole within your company. This gives you a better overview of your processes and enables you to recognize all participants of the process. BPMN models therefore also indirectly improve your understanding of processes. Furthermore, BPMN models are the technical basis for the documentation and automation of business processes.

Since the modeling language BPMN 2.0 is an internationally recognized standard, BPMN models are reusable, can be exported and imported into other systems, where they can be used and modified (if necessary). BPMN model exports and imports are used in the following areas, for example:

BPMN in practice online event MIWG

The international Model Interchange Working Group (MIWG) is an association of individuals and organizations in the field of BPMN that promotes international communication between BPMN tool vendors. The group was founded in 2013 with the goal to support, facilitate and promote the exchange of BPMN models between different tools. OMNINET is an important part of this group and supports the lively exchange about this standard with other BPMN vendors. We incorporate new findings into our product development. The various business processes we model with OMNITRACKER BPMN 2.0 can be fully imported and further processed in BPMN tools from other vendors.
