OMNINET’s anonymous whistleblowing system
Internal reporting office for whistleblower protectionIn order to ensure that employees and external parties can report violations anonymously, the whistleblower portal has been set up to supplement the existing internal communication channels. This allows whistleblowers to report serious breaches of regulations and criminal acts.
To ensure anonymity, no data that could be used to identify the reporting person is collected or stored by default.
How to create an anonymous report:
Easily point out possible grievances or report suggestions and complaints concerning OMNINET, the OMNINET team or individuals.
You report a violation in our portal and write down your personal report number and the unique report PIN. You can only use this data to access your report again later and see responses from OMNINET. To do this, use the “Show already submitted report” button.
What does the Whistleblower Protection Act regulate?
The Whistleblower Protection Act (Hinweisgeberschutzgesetz; HinSchG) applies to violations of EU and national law, in particular if they are criminal offenses or offenses punishable by a fine (administrative offense) that endanger health or life.
The actual aim of the Whistleblower Directive is therefore, on the one hand, to uncover incorrect or criminal conduct such as fraud, corruption, and other misconduct in companies before this becomes public knowledge and results in corresponding consequences for the company; on the other hand, it is intended to provide whistleblowers with uniform and better protection against reprisals throughout the EU in future.
